Don’t Pay to Complain

TPAA has been a school filled with hardworking students and college-based courses and sometimes we, hardworking students need a break. The school kindly gives us pep rallies, dances, talent shows and food fun Fridays. You would imagine that after having all these choices, you would be a little excited. Well, we were sadly mistaken.
Whenever we have pep rallies and cool events like that students complain. We often hear, “Do we have to”, or “I don’t feel like going”. If you guys think that the events are so boring and stupid then why don’t you stop complaining and help make them better? What you guys are doing is like whining for food but once you get it you don’t want it. Leadership and teachers work really hard to make these events for us, but people would rather complain than appreciate what they have done.
One suggestion I have is that if you do not like it, instead of moping and whining about it, why not change it? Not everything has to be shut down. And for leadership and staff, why not try and make a poll or petition where you ask students what they would like? Most students believe that the school does not really give us a say in what we want to do, so maybe instead of just guessing what a student wants, ask them for their intake and make this a school where people will want to come to.
