Wow. It has been five years of us being friends and four years of us being best friends. I still remember the first day we met, Jamiece Davis introduced us and without a word we looked at each other and began to laugh, that was the start of an epic friendship, I meet new people all the time but little did I know this individual would change my life for the better. Dionna Woolfolk spending at the most part everyday hanging out with you has been amazing because we both learned so many different things from each other. I am going to miss the days of you and I making the weird scenarios about future boyfriends and friends and your never ending talks about food. I know the readers won’t understand but all I have to do is think about our inside joke “Tiger” and I will laugh and I am sure you’ll do the same because that is what I say to get you to smile for pictures. My favorite memory of us is when you stayed the night at my house after my sweet 16 and we stayed up watching “Coupled”. You have been the best friend ever, from the laughs we’ve had to you staying on the phone with me for up to 6 hours listening to me cry, complain, or ramble. I will always remember the words you said to me when I felt alone “Even if the entire school is against you I will stand by your side”, same goes to you. I know every bird has to fly, but just know you always have a home with me and I am only and forever one phone call away. It is kind of funny how much we have put up with each other, whining about the same guys, whether they are famous or go to our school. I know you are going to go off to college live your life and become the amazing, successful, beautiful, independent and strong women I have seen since the first day we met, but don’t forget about me because I will never forget about you. Just know I am so proud of you and glad to be able to say that Dionna Woolfolk is my best friend. One day I will be asked what is the best thing that happened to you in highschool, and I will say Dionna Woolfolk, because she taught me to know my worth and to fight for what I want, that I matter and I am talented, She showed me that there are amazing pure people out there and she is one of them. I will probably be asked what was the hardest thing and I would say having to let our friendship go so that you could soar. I love you Dionna and you are going to do great things.
