The two weeks that succumb many students to overnight studying and an endless sea of stress is finally over. That’s right, by the time you are reading this, AP testing will be over!
The road to the Advanced Placement exams has been quite a new ride for Griffins at TPAA. While the usual hard work and studying was done in student’s classrooms, this year contained new requirements for those who were planning to take the exam(s). Logs of at least 10 hours of studying and 1 practice exam were the minimal requirements to get the fee cut of $93 to $5. Definitely a great bargain for us here at TPAA.
The very first AP test that made its presence here on campus, was held on Monday of May 8th -- AP Environmental Science. Other tests that Griffins took on were AP Spanish on the following Tuesday, AP US History last friday, AP Calculus just this Wednesday, and the very last exam following suite will be AP European History, held on Friday. Two weeks of tests. Two weeks of stress. But we finally made it!
We here at the Gazette want to congratulate everyone who participated in these exams. Whether you took 1 test, or 4, your hard work is greatly appreciated by not only your teachers who spent the whole school year teaching you the necessary criteria, but also by your fellow peers who stood by your side, swallowing in abundances of information and homework everyday.
Be proud of yourself! And remember, no matter what score you end up getting on these exams, just know that you took on the challenge that many others were not willing to handle. This willingness to attempt such difficult exams shows all of your perseverance and determination to succeed in life.
Again, Congratulations and good job to everyone who went out and tackled (or got tackled) those exams! Now we wait till next year’s inevitable return of those joyous two weeks...
