Finals are coming up and that means stress express. There’s projects and tests we all need to do. So, here are some recommendations for songs to get you through this monstrous week.
Eye of the Tiger by Survivor
Nothing like a beat to make you feel strong and powerful. This song used in the movie Rocky III is popular and a classic song for inspiration to this day.
Here’s some of the timeless lyrics:
“It's the eye of the tiger
It's the thrill of the fight
Rising up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all with the eye of the tiger”

Hard Times by Paramore
We all have hard times! There’s no shame and Paramore’s new song will get you out of any funk. Get up and dance the stress away.
Here are some of the lyrics:
“Hard times
Gonna make you wonder why you even try
Hard times
Gonna take you down and laugh when you cry
These lives
And I still don't know how I even survive
Hard times (hard times)”

Almost There from The Princess and the Frog
Who doesn't like a good Disney princess song? If Tiana can survive being a frog and open up a successful restaurant, then we might be able to survive the last week of school.
Lyric Sample:
“There's been trials and tribulations
You know I've had my share
But I've climbed the mountain, I've crossed the river
And I'm almost there, I'm almost there”
Don’t Stop Believing by Journey
The title of the song says it all. If you’re feeling like finals are just too much, don’t doubt yourself and push on ahead.
Lyrics:
“Workin' hard to get my fill
Everybody wants a thrill
Payin' anythin' to roll the dice
Just one more time
Some will win, some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues
Oh, the movie never ends
It goes on and on, and on, and on”
Try your best on those tests and good luck during finals!
