For my senior friends

I am awkward. I am not ashamed to admit this. I have always had trouble with expressing my thoughts in such a way that does not come out as sarcastic or condescending. However, I will say that despite this, I have been blessed with great friends and have made unforgettable relationships. What I would like to focus on this article are the seniors who have treated as both a peer, and a friend.
Journalism
When I think about my favorite classes, journalism never fails to come to mind. I have definitely grown as a writer and as a better informed citizen. But most of all it served to bring me into contact with some of the better people I know. To Anthony, you are a hipster who loves Nicki Minaj and your opinions are worthless. But you are also a great person and I am glad to have had witty exchanges with you. To Chandler, you are one of the most charismatic people I have ever met. If anyone will succeed and become a CEO of some fortune 500 company, it is going to be you. To Diana, you are an incredibly gifted writer as well as one of the most #optimistic people I know. I know that you will be the next John Green with your amazing story telling abilities and never doubt yourself and what you can do. To Mayva, if I ever need someone to start a party, you will be the first person I’d call. I haven’t thanked you for going to the talent show and shouting my name alongside Anthony Galeana (Another great friend, but he will get a shoutout next year), so I will do it now. Thank you so much. To Helen, you have made me laugh more times than I could count. I will never forget the day you, Mayva and Adrianna all tried to sell me lollipops for grad night and I ended up buying one from each of you. To Adrianna, the back corner of the classroom would never be the same without you. You, combined with Mayva and Helen, made a hilarious trio that honestly had better dialogue than most sitcoms.
I have greatly enjoyed working alongside all of you and I wish you all luck in your future endeavors. I know you will all do amazing things and I will not forget you. :)
Danceforce
Oddly enough, a good majority of those I know from journalism were in dance force. However I still feel compelled to mention it because without this fantastic club I would not have talked to any of the aforementioned people. However there are still a few exceptions. To Sarah, I am well aware that we didn’t talk a whole lot but regardless, I view you as a brilliant student who is also super nice to everyone. It was an absolute pleasure to know you and I look forward to the day when you will win a prestigious award. To another Anthony, you are a genuine person and I am very lucky to have known you. I will never forget the honor of being asked to participate in your promposal. Again we may not have talked often but I will definitely say that you are a fantastic fellow.
I truly do not know how dance will ever be as great as it was this year, but I will try to be as energetic and happy as all of you were. I honestly look up to everyone mentioned and will strive to achieve the level of greatness that you guys were on. Most importantly I shall find my hips I promise $wiss Cheese and 2 lanyardz :p
Calc buddiez
To Danna “Sunshine” Lopez. Wow you somehow got in here. Honestly I could never thank you enough for helping with my promposal and dealing with my sarcasm. You honestly are a great friend and a great singer. I look forward to seeing what you will do in the future and to seeing Buddy Katz live. It is going to be so HYPE. You are a cool dewd and don’t ever forget that. To Charles, what can I say? We have drank the world’s finest water together, learned a part of the chacha together, we have mathed together. We might as well just be brothers at this point. But really you were a cool dude and I wish you luck on your future endeavors
I truly am glad you guys decided to message me about a problem on the study guide. If not for that I probably would never have decided to keep talking to you awesome hilarious nerds. You guys are going places and don’t let anyone tell you different. :)
Special
I was going back and forth on this one. I knew I had to mention you, but I was unsure of whether or not you would mind getting your own section. I clearly decided to give you your own section, and if you do not like it well too bad :p. I feel as though this year has been extremely crazy, with AP classes, extracurricular activities, added responsibilities, and my newfound irrational fear of adolescence. Yet the one thing that has kept me from succumbing to stress and boredom is you. I have drafted and sent many well thought out messages that described your beauty, sincerity and your overall amazing traits. Yet I don’t think I have ever written one that truly encompasses everything I feel. I have learned that sometimes with proper context and emotion I can say the most with very few words. So here is my attempt. Thank you for everything Danny. I love you and I know you will do amazing things.
To All of you
I will never be able to fully express the overwhelming emotions I am experiencing typing all of this. I feel loss, because I will miss my newfound friends who I was just beginning to know. Yet I also feel an enormous sense of pride, because what you all are doing is incredible. You may not realize it now but I promise that regardless of where you go or what you do after, graduating high school is an enormous accomplishment that you should be proud of. If you don’t share the same belief that is fine because believe me when I say that I am proud enough for all of us.
